The calathea is a very dynamic plant and it's interesting for its owner. She is constantly changing relatively to light. In the evening it gathers its leaves, shrinking them and in the morning it unfolds again in all its beauty and tenderness.
The beauty of calathea is in the variety of its leaves - green or colorful with a mysterious pattern and satin sheen. There are about 150 species of Calathea - all with beautifully colored leaves.
